EPOS will participate at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2019 that will be held at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) in the city of Vienna, Austria, from 7–12 April 2019.
EPOS will contribute to the organization of two sessions:
- ESSI2.6 Communities, tools and policies for integrated Earth and Space Science (e)infrastructures (co-sponsored by AGU) Convener: Lesley Wyborn | Co-Convener: Ari Asmi
- ESSI2.7 Towards Global Networks of Trusted Repositories for Solid Earth and Environmental Data, Software, and Samples, Convener: Kerstin Lehnert | Co-Conveners: Helen Glaves, Florian Haslinger, Lesley Wyborn
Scientists, research infrastructures, e-Infrastructure providers, ICT experts, managers, and communicators involved in activities for implementing data and service provision of relevance for solid Earth science have been invited to submit contributions.
The meeting programme will be available on February the 19th, 2019.
EPOS visibility throughout the event will furthermore be ensured through the dedicated exhibit booth #112-113, in which EPOS team will disseminate updated information about the service implementation and data provision, as well as will distribute booklets and flyiers to visitors, but also nice EPOS gadgets. The EPOS community expetcts to provide demo presentations in the booth concerning the Integrated and Thematic Core Services (ICS, TCS).
