The EPOS Board of Governmental Representatives met in Lisbon, on the 31st March - 1st April 2016 at the Hotel Sana addressing essential key issues for EPOS construction.

The meeting has been successful and was attended by 18 countries with voting rights and 1 country as observer (out of the 25 countries involved in EPOS).

During the meeting the three proposals submitted to host the EPOS Integrated Core Service-Central hub (ICS-C) have been presented to the BGR by the proponents (representing the following countries: UK-France-Denmark, Italy and Poland). The BGR has discussed the procedure to select the ICS-C hosting country.

The BGR has accepted to be the decision body for the TCS-ICS validation.

The BGR endorsed the composition and role of the Board of National Scientific Representative (BNSR).

The BGR agreed to decide on the submission of Step 1 for EPOS-ERIC legal establishment during the meeting planned on 3rd and 4th of November 2016. In that meeting the BGR will also discuss and approve the EPOS-ERIC Statutes.
