On May 5-14, 2019 the 3DTeLC project will organise its summer school at the INGV seat in Nicolosi (Catania).
This is a trans-European three year innovation project, funded by the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 programme: Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices, a European scheme that fosters higher education partnerships.
13 partners from five European countries, including academic institutions, national and government agencies and industrial partners collaborate to this project.
The 3DTeLC aims to develop 3D and Virtual Reality products to manage Natural Risk, through Teaching, Learning and Communication experiences.
Aerial and submarine photography are combined to create 3D models, which are displayed in Virtual Reality and used for a plethora of Natural Risk applications.
Combining the 3D Models and the Virtual Reality experience with EPOS data products will enrich the EPOS TCS Volcano Observation knowledge and comprehension of volcanic phenomena.
