On September 11th, 2018, the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) will officially present the 2018 ESFRI Roadmap on Large Scale Research Infrastructures during a half-day conference in Vienna.
The venue will be the Aula der Wissenschaften. This conference is part of a series of events marking the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It is organised by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, in close cooperation with ESFRI and the European Commission.
The ESFRI Chair, Giorgio Rossi will present the 2018 ESFRI Roadmap. During the afternoon, invited participants will discuss about the prospects and challenges posed by the new Roadmap.
The EPOS project coordinator Massimo Cocco will attend the event. EPOS is one of the new landmarks in the prestigious Portfolio of the ESFRI Roadmap,
EPOS and the other new entry were selected for the excellence of their scientific case and their maturity in the implementation phase with the aim to reinforce critical areas of competitiveness for European research.
