The Italian Ministry for Education, University and Research (MIUR), the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE) and the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) are organising today, 22 October 2019, an Information Day in Rome at MIUR headquarters, Sala Aldo Moro, Viale Trastevere 76/A.
The "Research Infrastructures Information Day" will be divided into two separate but closely linked meetings in order to address, through an integrated approach, the theme of research infrastructures in Italy and Europe.
In the morning the event: "ESFRI Roadmap 2021" organized by the Italian delegation ESFRI, represented by Dr. Gelsomina Pappalardo and Prof. Caterina Petrillo.
The aim of the meeting will be to provide an update on the ongoing process and the next steps towards the ESFRI Roadmap 2021.
In the afternoon the Event "H2020 Research Infrastructures national day for the launch of the 2020 last call of proposals" organized by APRE, Agency for the Promotion of European Research, headquarters of the National Contact Points (NCP), on behalf of MIUR in close collaboration with the National Representative Prof. Cristina Messa, and with the participation of the European Commission (DG RTD), in the person of Dr. Lorenza Saracco.
The aim of the afternoon meeting is to present the funding opportunities of the Horizon 2020 Research Infrastructures Work Programme (including e-Infrastructures) for the year 2020. Specifically, six calls will be presented for a total allocation of about 342M€.
