The JRU members from several public research organizations CNR, OGS, ISPRA, from CINECA, the Eucentre Foundation and some universities, Napoli Federico II, Roma Tre, Genova and Trieste are attending the meeting.
The INGV (the Italian National Institute for Geophysics and Volcanology) jas just closed two calls for two Technologist positions (the technological equivalent of a Researcher) in High Performance Computing (HPC) in the framework of the H2020 ChEESE project (http://www.cheese-coe.eu), the recently funded Center of Excellence in Exascale for Solid Earth.
The Central themes of this year will be the new IT challenges in multidisciplinary research. On Thursday the 6th Massimo Cocco, the EPOS ERIC Executive Director, will attend the session about storage and reuse of digital data.
The ROB is looking for an early career and dynamic collaborator for the seismological branch of the BELSPO EPOS-BE project. Applications (CV and motivation letter) are welcome until May 31 2019 included.
