The EPOS Multi-scale laboratories community will meet in Barcelona on November 21st-23rd, 2018, to discuss the outcomes of the
EPOS and the TCS Multi-scale laboratories will be presented at the 2nd SUBITOP Workshop which will be held in Utrecht (The Netherlands) from the 10th to the 11th of July 2017.
Elisa Calignano (Utrecht University), coordinator of the EPOS Thematic Core Service Multi-scale laboratories, will introduce the Earth Plate Oserving System to the Early Stage Researchers in Geodynamics, Geophysics, Geology and Geomorphology attending the Workshop, with focus on the new opportunities for Open Science and access to advanced European research facilities.
SUBITOP - Understanding subduction zone topography through modelling of coupled shallow and deep processes, fuses research and training at ten leading centres of the Earth Sciences in Europe and forges partnerships with 15 companies for its fellows, with participants in eight countries. The Training Network provides a comprehensive range of modelling and observation techniques, exploiting the full diversity of active and ancient subduction systems within Europe.
